Ever since its establishment in 1967, Canon Tokki has been contributing to the global electronics industry by focusing its efforts on research, development, and manufacturing in the fields of machine tools, automation equipment, and vacuum process technology. With "creating the future using leading-edge technology" as our motto, we have been providing original manufacturing systems based on thin-film technology to support the electronics industry, while creating automation and labor saving innovations for production sites with a wide range of different and unique technologies.

Foremost among these technologies and products, Canon Tokki was the first company in the world to develop mass production system technologies to manufacture next-generation OLED displays, a flat-panel display (FPD) characterized by its self-luminosity, thinness, light weight, excellent visibility, low power consumption, and high-speed video playback. Canon Tokki has continued to innovate and improve these technologies in a variety of different ways to date. These efforts have earned us a high level of support from our customers, and in return, Canon Tokki has delivered its manufacturing systems to the world's leading panel manufacturers. We plan to continue expanding our business into a wide range of organic electronics fields by taking advantage of our core competency, which is the development of original technologies.

Canon Tokki is also working to build a corporate structure that is resistant to business fluctuations and sudden changes in the business environment by focusing on "business diversification" .Specifically, in addition to the existing OLED business, Canon Tokki is aggressively focusing on areas in which demand is expected to grow rapidly as part of various measures against global warming, including next-generation thin-film photovoltaic cell panel manufacturing systems and other equipment for the solar power generation market, as well as other environment and energy-related businesses, electronic device businesses, and a diverse range of other businesses selected to strengthen our business infrastructure while achieving sustained growth.
