Tokki’s company name is an abbreviation of a Japanese phrase meaning “special machines”. Rather than running a traditional factory line, Tokki designs and determines specifications for equipment that meets customer needs.

In May 2004, Tokki was certified with the quality management international standard ISO 9001. Many of Tokki’s production and technical employees conduct thorough quality management. Also, the R&D center established in the Mitsuke factory performs leading-edge research and development on next-generation technology.
