On January 12th, 2007, Tokki was certified with the international standard ISO 14001 for its environmental management system at its current main factory in Mitsuke.

ISO 14001 is an international standard that prescribes a system which can continuously reduce the burden on the environment through the formulation of an environmental philosophy and policy, and verifies that this system has been constructed and is being appropriately operated.

Tokki builds its core products, including its OLED display manufacturing equipment, next-generation thin-film photovoltaic cell manufacturing equipment and so on, while giving consideration to the environment. Tokki has taken this certification of the Mitsuke factory as a cue to continue promoting environmental awareness at other factories and offices as well.

On May 14th, 2004, Tokki was certified with the international standard ISO 9001 for quality control at its current main factory in Mitsuke.

Ever since the Mitsuke factory was completed in April 2003, Tokki has been working to achieve the high level of quality required for ISO 9001 certification, and after approximately one year of constructing and running the factory’s quality management system, this goal was achieved on May 14th, 2004.

This certification demonstrates that, in addition to managing its product quality assurance process, Tokki has constructed and is appropriately running a system for continuously improving quality control.

Tokki has taken this ISO 9001 certification as an opportunity to improve quality even further by linking the quality management system to processes for creating product value, and by continuously improving the system as we work to become a corporation that is trusted even further by our customers.
